KL2 POST-DOCTORAL SCHOLAR PROGRAM  

$80,000 for one year& $20,000 for research

Second year is based on re-funding of the CTSC Grant by the NIH

The goal of the CTSC KL2 Scholars Award is to increase the pool of trained clinical and translational (C/T) investigators by providing advanced degree training and practical skills necessary to conduct translational team research across disciplines and institutions. Scholars receive the following benefits:

  • Stipend coverage at the NIH approved rate
  • Funding for supplies and research support including educational expenses
  • Funding for travel to present at national conferences and symposia
  • Access to resources for conducting C/T research, multi-level mentoringsupport, and career development,

TL1 PRE/EARLY POST-DOCTORAL TRAINING PROGRAM  

$28,120 for one year (pre-docs)

$65,122 for one year (post-docs)

ADVANCED DEGREES IN CLINICAL & TRANSLATIONAL INVESTIGATION

The goal of the Clinical and Translational Education Programs(CTEP) isto educate and train highly motivated individuals to become successful, independent clinical and translational (C/T) investigators through a strong foundation of knowledge and practical skills necessary to conduct interdisciplinary C/T investigation in a team research environment.

 

Advanced Certificate

The Advanced Certificate track (1 year) is comprised of core curriculum classes in clinical and translational research structured as lectures, interactive seminars, and workshops.

Master’s Degree

The Master’s Degree track (2 years) is comprised of a didactic curriculum of core and elective courses, and a mentored clinical and translational research project.
