LGBT Communications & Health Needs Training 4/29 & 4/30 – Register Now!

CULTURAL COMPETENCIES TRAINING ON LGBT COMMUNICATIONS AND HEALTH NEEDS

Sponsored by the Clinical and Translational Science Center (CTSC)

The CTSC invites you to participate in a training that is open to anyone interested in acquiring the knowledge and skills related to Lesbian, Gay, and Transgender (LGBT) Inclusive Communications and LGBT Health Needs. Through two-day interactive training workshops, participants will learn how to communicate and provide care that is sensitive and inclusive for their LGBT patients and families and learn about local and national LGBT health disparities and best practices in the care of LGBT patients.

Training Sessions (may attend any or all sessions):

  • Session 1: LGBT Inclusive Communication (Wednesday, April 29th, 12:30-1:30pm)
  • Session 2: LGBT Health Needs (Thursday, April 30th, 12:30-1:30pm)

All sessions will be held at the Belfer Research Building (BB-302A/B), 413 East 69th Street, New York, NY 20021.
